How to Submit Your Story

Submitting your story to InTheirWords is simple:

  1. Write from the Heart: Share your personal experiences, thoughts, and reflections. There’s no right or wrong way to tell your story—just be yourself.

  2. Choose Your Language: Feel free to write in any of the three languages you are comfortable with—Farsi, Pashto, or English.

  3. Submit Your Work: Email your written piece to info@herstory-af.org  with the subject line “InTheirWords Submission.” Please include your name (or a pseudonym if you prefer to remain anonymous) and a brief bio about yourself.

  4. Review and Publication: Our team will review your submission to ensure it meets our guidelines. We may suggest edits to help your story shine. Once approved, we will publish it on the InTheirWords page.
